Cutting

Automatically Cut Products - Special Cut Products

Cutting is a cold machining process for sheet metal and is the most widespread in the production of a vast range of metal components.
It is a process that can cut pre-set flat sections of sheet metal into squares or strips. Cutting is performed on a press thanks to a two-part mould, namely:
- a die connected to the fixed parts of the press
- a punch integral with the sliding block
The punch penetrates the sheet and passes through it removing a profile of shaped material of the same section as the punch.
Sabrest provides automatic and special cutting operations that are carried out with cutting lines varying from a capacity of 75 to 250 tons, all powered by NC belts, and reworking operations are carried out, using presses with a capacity from 20 to 120 tons.
